General and special conditions of sale for ""FontRémy"" gîtes updated August 2021

[1] Vacation rental subject to confirmation by William (the owner) to the tenant (the client).

[2] To reserve the property, the customer must complete and sign the reservation form as well as the general and special conditions of sale of the ""FontRémy"" lodgings and return them electronically accompanied by the initial non-refundable deposit (30% of the total rent of). After receipt of the reservation form, the general and special conditions of sale of the ""FontRémy"" lodgings and the deposit, the owner will send you a confirmation. This is the formal acceptance of the reservation (except for some reservation platforms). The reservation is personal.

[3] The balance of the rent as well as the security deposit (see clause 4) are payable at least eight weeks before the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due date, the owner reserves the right to notify in writing the cancellation of the reservation. Reservations made within eight weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of signing the reservation.

[4] A security deposit of € 300 per stay or part of the rental week for the Wisteria, Honeysuckle and Jasmine houses and € 500 for the ROSE house is required in the event of damage to the property and its contents. However, the amount reserved in this clause does not limit the liability of the customer towards the owner. The owner will be required to account to the customer for the security deposit and refund the balance due within two weeks of the rental period. Any breakage during the rental period must be accounted for by the owners and deducted from this security deposit.Please report any breakage to the manager immediately. This makes it easier to check stocks.

[5] Subject to paragraphs 2 and 3 above, in the event of a non-insurable cancellation, reimbursement of the sums paid will be made if the owner is able to re-let the property. Any costs or losses incurred will be deducted from the refundable amount. The client is strongly recommended to take out full travel insurance (including cancellation cover) and to fully cover the party's personal effects, civil liability, or holiday-type insurance contract for these various risks, these are not 'being not covered by the owner's insurance.

[6] The rental period begins at 4 p.m. on the first day and ends at 10 a.m. on the last day. The owner is not obliged to offer the accommodation before the time indicated and the client is not allowed to remain in business after the time indicated. The contract is concluded for a fixed period and the tenant may not under any circumstances invoke any right to remain in the premises at the end of the stay.

[7] The maximum number of people who can reside in the property must not exceed the advertised capacity, except with the written authorization of the owner. If the number of tenants exceeds the capacity of reception, the owner can refuse the additional people. Any modification or breach of the contract will therefore be considered at the initiative of the tenant.

[8] The client agrees to be a considerate tenant, to take good care of the property and to leave it clean and tidy at the end of the rental period. The "first" cleaning must be done by you before departure (the dishes must be washed and put away, the bins emptied, the floors swept up, the refrigerators in a correct state, the linen removed and placed at the foot of the bed (if option laundry validated), the oven without burnt food.the owner reserves the right to constitute a deduction from the security deposit (€ 80 for Rose and € 60 / house for the other houses) to cover additional cleaning costs if the client does not respect the instructions requested. [9] The client must promptly report to the owner's agent any defect in the property, failure of equipment, machinery or appliances in the property, garden or pool, and arrangements for repair and / or replacement will be taken as soon as possible.

[10] The owner is not responsible to the client for:
[a] any defect or temporary interruption in the provision of utilities to the property, as well as any equipment, malfunction or breakdown in the property, garden or swimming pool. . [b] any loss, damage or injury resulting from adverse weather conditions, riots, war, strikes or any other matter beyond the control of the owner. [c] any loss, damage or inconvenience caused or suffered by the customer if the goods are destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period and, in this case, the owner must reimburse the customer within seven days of his notification . all sums already paid for the rental period.

[11] Under no circumstances will the owner's liability to the client exceed the amount paid to the owners for the rental period.

[12] What's included: Electricity and water are included, but we reserve the right to charge for any excessive use."the good morning" basis for 10 people per day, within the limit of approximately: 1 coffee filter, 60g of ground coffee, 3 tea bags, 60g of instant chocolate powder, 300 cl of fruit juice, 84g of lump sugar, 240g of toasted bread rolls and 90cl of 1/2 skimmed milk. [13] Swimming pool - the swimming pool is heated from May to mid-September. If you want it to be heated outside these dates, fees will be charged (however we reserve the right to refuse depending on the period requested). It is not allowed to smoke, drink or eat in the pool area or around the pool. It is not allowed to use the bathroom linen of the establishment. Please bring your own pool / beach towels

[14] Smoking is prohibited in the houses. Outside, bins are provided for this purpose.

[16] It is not allowed to bring outdoor furniture into the house. And conversely, it is not allowed to take interior furniture outside the house. It is not authorized to move the tables from the terraces to the green spaces. The owner reserves the right to constitute a deduction from the security deposit to cover the costs of repairs or replacement in the event of damage.

[17] Inventory and inventory: the tenant has 12 hours to check that the premises conform to the description given and to report any anomalies noted to the owner. After this period, the rented goods will be considered free from damage upon entry by the tenant.In the absence of a contradictory inventory at the end of the rental, the absence of a dispute from the owner within 72 hours of the end of the rental will be deemed to be the return of the premises in good condition and complete inventory.

[18] Litigation; in the event of a dispute, the competent court will be that of the registered office of the company SARL FH2G.
