FONT REMY is the former Manor House of Le Petit Village, a peaceful hamlet set amongst vineyards 2km inland from the pretty fishing village of Mortagne-sur-Gironde.

The property has been tastefully converted into four very spacious, fully equipped houses sleeping 10, 10, 6 and 6 and is set in a walled garden of 2 acres with views of the vineyards beyond. There is a heated and fenced 15m x 8m swimming pool with roman steps at the shallow end, a sand pit, swings, a boules pitch, badminton and plenty of space for ball games. In the new games' barn there are lots of board games and books, a children's corner with dvds and videos, plus a table tennis and pool table and table football. For 2009 we have also added WiFi.  Tennis, go-karting, horse riding, golf, sailing, bikes and boat hire are all available locally.

Cots, highchairs and stairgates are available at no extra charge.

Mortagne has bakers, butchers, a small supermarket and bars and restaurants overlooking the boats in the port.
